conscious film mentorship for conscious people

Top rated by 100+ clients

★★★★★

I guide you through the different stages in the process of film creation, from the very conception of the idea till post-production and distribution of your piece, helping you translate your ideas into audiovisual language and guiding you towards the entire journey so your piece will be aligned with what you truly want to communicate. We work together not only in the technical and creative components of the process, but I also offer my facilitation and skills as a coach so your artistry is embraced with the care and consideration it deserves.

This service is available for cinema enthusiasts, first-time directors, artists with different backgrounds, young cinema students, or art students aiming to manifest audiovisual projects.

I especially work with first-person (autobiographical) pieces, documentaries, and dance films. I also work with experimental films, fiction short films, and interactive audiovisual pieces.

*Service available in English and Spanish.

What is it about

Why to hire me

Whether you’re in the early stages of your film or already developing a project, whether it’s your first time directing or you have experience behind the camera — my role as a mentor is to help you turn hard work into heart work.

I’ll guide you to ground your vision with the resources you already have, while opening new creative paths that make your film stand out.

I know how personal and vulnerable filmmaking can feel — it’s not just a technical process, it’s an act of self-expression. Our films carry our stories, identities, and emotions; they expose our inner worlds for others to see and reflect upon.

That’s why I believe every filmmaker deserves not only technical guidance but also emotional support to stay inspired and confident throughout the journey.

My approach combines both: creative mentorship and personal encouragement. Together, we’ll make sure your project reflects your originality, values, and voice — and that the process itself feels fulfilling and alive.

Because a successful film is not just a powerful final piece — it’s also a director who feels proud, connected, and at peace with the path that led there.

If you decide to hire this service, we’ll have weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly 90-minute sessions, online or in person, for the agreed duration of your project.

Between sessions, you’ll receive tasks and exercises to keep the creative process active. I’ll also be available to review materials outside our meetings (optional and charged separately).

We’ll design the schedule together, based on your project’s needs and our mutual availability.

About me

I’m Valentina, a multidisciplinary Artist & Therapist with a passion for storytelling and creative exploration. I work as a filmmaker, photographer, dancer, writer, and also as a trained coach and bodyworker.

I studied Cinema at Universidad Católica de Chile, drawn to its ability to combine multiple art forms into meaningful, expressive projects. My first documentary, 23, screened internationally and explored deeply personal themes — a project that shaped my approach as an artist and mentor.

Since then, I’ve worked as a Writer, Director, Editor, Producer, Assistant Director, and Cinema Teacher. I’ve guided first-time directors from concept to post-production, witnessing their growth and creative breakthroughs.

After living in South India for four years, I deepened my knowledge of Yoga, Mindfulness, Dance Therapy, IFS, and other tools for emotional and creative resilience. These experiences inspired me to create a unique mentorship program that integrates film guidance with coaching, helping emerging directors bring their projects to life while supporting their personal and creative growth.

I’m excited to share my tools, experience, and guidance with you — and to help your film reach its fullest potential.
