Film & Video Consultancy

I guide you through the different stages of the process of film creation, from the very conception of the idea till post-production and distribution of your piece, helping you translate your ideas into audiovisual language and guiding you towards the entire process so your piece will be aligned with what you truly want to communicate with it. We work together not only in the technical and creative components of the process, but I also offer my facilitation and skills as a coach so your artistic process is embraced with the care and consideration it deserves.

*This service is available only for cinema enthusiasts, first-time directors, artists with different backgrounds, young cinema students, or art students aiming to manifest audiovisual projects.

*I especially work with first-person (autobiographical) pieces, documentaries, and dance films. I also work with experimental films, fiction short films, and interactive audiovisual pieces and experiences.

*Service available in English or Spanish.

Whether you are in the initial phases of your film/video project, or you are in working on an idea for a piece, whether is your first time as director or you already have some experience creating cinema, my job as a mentor for your project is helping you transform all that hard-work into heart-work, grounding your project in the best possible way with the resources you already count on, and providing new ones that will make your piece to stand out.

Trust me: I know how intimidating to make a film can be. Specially if the project is really personal and close to your heart. For artists, our work is not only performing in a particular job or complete a series of tasks, our art creations are related with our inner world, our very history and identity for many…

Art pieces, and specially films are exposing our souls and minds for the world to see and reflect sometimes in our most vulnerable parts and topics.

Is because I know the courage, discipline and constant inner and outer work creating a film requires, that I believe as film makers we need not only the knowledge and technical skills to build a successful project, but also the emotional and psychological support to keep us motivated and confident through out the process.

My emphasis is accompanying you and offering you all my tools for you to enjoy and grow as a film creator with your project. Your final product should not only reflect your originality, values and creativity, but should also be a natural mirror of the conscious production process you have gone through. A successful movie is not only a good final piece, but a happy director that not only like her product but also is content with the journey she embarked on to made it happen.

If you decide to hire this service we would have weekly, bi-weekly or monthly 90 minutes online/offline meetings for the agreed duration of your project. I'd also give you tasks to complete in between sessions, and would be available outside our meetings to review materials (service paid separately).

We would work the schedule together of course depending on your project needs and available timings from both of us.
